The organization of the program by Danielle and Wayne McLeod was excellent. The training in the morning followed by games in the evening gave us time to incorporate the learned skills into actual shot making.

The program covered all of my requests and included additional material that was helpful in understanding this complex sport.

The one on one instruction opportunities that I had with Wayne, Danielle and Tom, was worth the trip itself. Do not change the option of open ice time, having coaches of your calibre available for individual training sets this getaway apart from any other.

The parts on all the steps of the delivery, the video analysis, the critique of every aspect were particularly helpful to me. That is exactly what I hoped to get from the Getaway.

I was completely satisfied with the Getaway. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be, and all my expectations were met. It was at just the right level for me as a curler, including the strategy and mental preparation parts. The Getaway also had such a nice social aspect, with the lunches and the fun things in the evening after the games.

I liked your teaching approach. Your experience as teachers really showed. I especially appreciated when you would critique all aspects of the game, deliveries, etc. That is what I was there for.

I hope the Getaway continues to grow. If it is still around in a few years, I may come back again.
