Welcome arrival any time after 1 p.m. at the curling club. (How to get there. Drive North on Hwy 108. Turn left at the first set of lights at the corner of Hwy 108 and Hillside Dr. S. (Esso gas station on the right.) Drive West up Hillside Dr. S. past the first set of lights. Canadian Tire is on the right. First left past the lights is the Deer Trail Curling Club.)

There will be three hours of instruction every morning. Discussion with each curler will have taken place prior to their arrival. Instructional sessions will be tailored and developed to meet the individual needs of each curler and their skill level. On-ice sessions will cover all aspects of the curling delivery (ie. Balance, timing, line of delivery, release) as well as brushing techniques. Curlers’ deliveries will be videotaped and analyzed. Classroom sessions on strategy, team communication, reading the ice, mental preparation and other topics of interest will also be available as needed or required. During the nightly games, instructors will be on the ice to provide input on strategy and shot options.

After this off-ice session, curlers will choose what they would like to do. The participants can remain at the curling club and further develop and practice their curling skills on the ice, with the help of instructors. Participants may choose to partake in some of the activities listed on the website. (ie. Nature walks around Elliot Lake).
Evening meal options are the responsibility of each guest. We are happy to give directions to the restaurant of your choice. These meals are not included in the registration quote.
